Jamie Savage Starting as Interim CEO of Startup Canada During Kayla Isabelle’s Parental Leave

OTTAWA, ON – March 6, 2024. The Startup Canada Board of Directors and Executive team are excited to announce that Jamie Savage will be taking over as the part-time Interim CEO of Startup Canada, effective March 7, 2024. Jamie will be supporting the Startup Canada team over the next few months during current CEO Kayla Isabelle’s upcoming parental leave.

Jamie has been an active member of the Startup Canada Board of Directors since 2021, becoming Board Chair in October 2023. As Founder of The Leadership Agency, Jamie brings a deep passion for and understanding of the Canadian startup community and a drive to improve the support ecosystem for early stage founders!

The Startup Canada Board and team ask you to join us as we wish Kayla and her family best wishes and health as they welcome their new baby! We also give a warm welcome to Jamie and look forward to working with her in the coming months as Interim CEO.
